Howdy!!
Well George kicked our butt
a couple years back in Biloxi
but hopefully Gordon will
just pass us by.
Here are some links to keep you abreast of the situation incase we fall out of contact.
The local TV News stations
The local newspaper
The weather channel

Here's the pictures I will be taking every few
hours and uploading as long as we have power
and internet access.
Our pool and pond at 12pm Sat 9/16/00
these are basically our only 2 concerns, as far as water goes.
Weather
is on and off again sprinkles, slightly over cast but generally nice.
The family update 7pm Sat 9/16/00
As you can tell at 7pm (est) things are pretty much status cuo.
The weather is still on and off sprinkles, nothing major.
Everyone is up to regular activity.
Kids swim, grown ups on computers
Pets are sleeping.
We are under the following advisories.
Hurricane Watch
Tropical Storm Warning
Flood Warning
1:30 am Sunday 9/17/00 | |
We just got an update. On our advisories.
Hurricane warning.
Tropical storm warning
Flood warning
and just about every other stinking warning on earth.
It appears we will be in the south east quad of the storm
wich we all know is always the worst part LOL.
They are now saying (and it changes every minute)
that we should be expecting tropical storm force winds
by 3 or 4am today, and then it will progressively
worsen. The weather here is still perfect.
Nice and warm, with a slight sprinkle now
and then, there is a hint of the slightest
breeze. Amazing huh? Apparently it
will be ugly by the time we wake up in the morning.
Hopefully we will still have power at that time LOL.
Kids, & pig are all asleep. Lloyd & I will be
heading that way within the next hour or so. The cat woke up.
It's too dark outside for the webcam and since we are all
going to bed it should look pretty boring.
2:45am Sunday 9/17/00 |
Everyone is asleep |
It's finally raining. Not
what you would expect. It's a
slow steady not to heavy rain.
They just announced some closings
at the Tampa/St.Pete airport.
If this bugger turns any more in
an easterly direction we will get it
much worse than currently anticipated.
Going to bed.
